My story begins right here in District 11 in a working-class household. I grew up on free lunch programs, the child of parents who didn't attend college and who worked blue-collar jobs striving to create better opportunities for their children. This experience – shared by so many families across our district – shaped my understanding of both our challenges and our potential.
